Information and provider relationships
Driving Sorted is an independent information service. Unless a separate checkout explicitly says otherwise, lessons, training, hire, insurance, finance and other services are supplied by the provider you choose. Confirm their qualifications, price, terms, insurance and suitability. We do not guarantee a test result, instructor availability, funding decision or source completeness. Nothing in these terms removes statutory consumer rights.
Accounts
Use accurate account information, protect your password and only submit records you are entitled to use. Accounts are for people aged 16 or over; a parent or guardian can act for a younger learner. Do not upload other pupils’ identifying or sensitive information. You can export and delete your records in your workspace.
Listings and ownership
Only claim or change a listing when you are authorised by that provider. Supply accurate service areas, prices, package conditions and current availability. We may seek independent ownership evidence, reject unsupported claims, correct records or remove harmful or misleading material. A listing is not regulator approval or a recommendation.
Enquiries and acceptable use
Use enquiries for relevant requests about the listed services. Do not send spam, harassment, unlawful material, deceptive claims or unsolicited marketing. Do not use accounts or forms to collect personal information about other people. We may restrict access to protect the service and affected users.
Prices and commercial placement
Standard listings are currently free. If paid upgrades become available, the checkout must show the actual charge, renewal frequency, cancellation terms and applicable taxes before purchase. Sponsored positions will be labelled. Payment does not buy credential verification, favourable statistics or editorial endorsement.
Data and content reuse
Our original content and design are protected by copyright. Third-party data remains under its stated licence. Official statistical data is generally available under the Open Government Licence subject to source notes. OpenStreetMap-derived layers are identified under ODbL. Overture records retain source attribution and their applicable licences. Do not assume that all data or linked provider content has the same licence.
Corrections, availability and liability
We aim to provide accurate information and useful tools, but sources and provider offers can change. Check official services for the rules and decisions that apply to you. Report errors through our correction form. We do not exclude liability where the law prevents us doing so, including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
